Obama’s Etch-A-Sketch Moment with Medvedev

Will President Obama shake up his Etch-A-Sketch after he is elected?  He sure did last time, promising bi-partisanship, a new tone,  and the end of politics as usual, only to become the most hyper-partisan President of our time.  And now, with almost no coverage from the media (vs. the 24/7 coverage of a Romney campaign aide’s Etch comment), the President was caught on mic with Dmitri Medvedev or Russia saying, essentially, “don’t worry Dmitri, I’ll say all kinds of things to get elected, but once in I’ll turn the promises on their head.”

(Reuters) – President Barack Obama was caught on camera on Monday assuring outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he will have “more flexibility” to deal with contentious issues like missile defense after the U.S. presidential election.

It makes one wonder, what else will he have “more flexibility” on if he is re-elected and faces no accountability to the American people in his second and last term?

One Response to Obama’s Etch-A-Sketch Moment with Medvedev

  1. Rick Bueti says:

Dan, excellent points once again regarding Obama’s etch a sketch moment. Perhaps his reelection campaign slogan should be ” Yes We Can! (maybe) “
